Superintendent Professional Development

The board encourages the superintendent to continue professional growth by being involved in professional organizations, attending conferences, and participating in other professional activities.

It shall be the responsibility of the superintendent to arrange the superintendent’s schedule of events in order to enable attendance at various conferences and events.  In the case where overnight traveling or unusual expense is involved, the superintendent shall bring it to the attention of the board prior to attending the event.

The superintendent shall report to the board about each event attended.
