School District - Community Relations

Use of School District Facilities for Private Profit

The facilities of the school district will be made available for a fee to local for-profit entities.  Such use will be permitted only when it does not interfere with or disrupt the education program or school related activity, the use is consistent with state law, and will end no later than midnight.  The board reserves the right to deny use of the facilities to any group.

There shall be a written contract and proof of insurance coverage on file with the board secretary prior to the scheduled event.  A member of the school district personnel must be present at the event.

It shall be the responsibility of the superintendent to develop administrative regulations regarding this policy.
