What are areas of concern about
students’ mathematics performance in grades 4, 8, and 11? |
|
An area that needs
improvement is students with disabilities (IEPs). The district has being using more inclusion classes; scores
have demonstrated that doing this increases the achievement levels for IEP
students. All 3 buildings will be
utilizing inclusion to some degree.
Inclusion means that the students receive instruction with the regular
ed students; the district then has a second teacher working in those classes
instead of pulling students out in a special class. |
