November "To Do" List for Seniors

Have your submitted your admission applications?

Have you completed your FAFSA?

If you can answer yes to these two questions you are ready to move on to scholarships full-time.

If you are still working on either application, you need to finish those up.

Try to submit your admission application by November 1 so you can focus your energy on scholarships going forward.

It’s also important to get your FAFSA completed because the FAFSA can be a required step on some scholarship forms.

  1. Scholarships take time but can be worth it. Map out a strategy and spend a few hours a week on scholarships.

  2. Start with the schools you’ve applied to. Talk with an admissions representative and ask about the college scholarship process.
Is it one application or several? When are the deadlines? Then get to work.

  3. Local scholarships will be listed more frequently throughout the school year....listen to the announcements & read your emails!!

  4. Visit www.icansucceed.org/scholarships
