Welcome to Davis County Middle School!

One School, One Community, One Goal... The Best That We Can Be!

Davis County Middle School is located in rural Southeast Iowa. There are approximately 340 students in our 5th - 8th grade facility. Classes run from 8:15am - 3:22pm. Class periods are 47 minutes in length. (Bell Schedules)

Student's courses include 2 periods of English Language Arts and 1 period of Math, Science, Social Studies, and "Specials". Specials are courses rotated on a 6 day cycle and include: Physical Education, Music, Art, Library, and Computer Education. Band and Choir are electives offered to 7th and 8th grade students.

New this fall to Davis County Middle School, an additional 30 minute "Success" class held 6th period daily. The success period is designed to provide an extra opportunity for students who may need additional support in a specific curricular area.
