Narrative:
Davis County CSD requires the following:
Last mile leased lit or dark fiber services to the following three endpoints, connected back to the district’s hub using one or two strands:

District Hub 501 E. Locust St., Bloomfield, IA
Elementary/Middle School 500 E. North St. , Bloomfield, IA
Physical Education and Activity Facility - South 106 N. East St., Bloomfield, IA
High School 503 E. Locust St., Bloomfield, IA

These locations require a continued or expanded level of service. The service is requested to begin on July 1, 2021, unless otherwise designated.

With this in mind Davis County CSD is seeking options to a private dedicated network solution for a connection between these locations and the district’s hub where the chosen solution between these points is 100% dedicated to Davis County Schools. The solution options should provide high availability, high bandwidth services that support data, voice, and video simultaneously.

Leased Fiber:
Davis County CSD must have guaranteed leased fiber to the endpoints throughput (upload and download) capable of 1 Gbps, upgradeable with Service Level Agreement (SLA). Pricing of transport circuits is requested at the 1 Gbps over 12, 36, 60, and 120 months. The transport circuit endpoints will be from the Elementary/Middle School to the District Hub AND from the Physical Education & Activity Facility - South to the District Hub AND from the High School to the District Hub. Pricing should be all inclusive. Davis County CSD already has the equipment necessary to light dark fiber and will be responsible for the maintenance of that equipment. If the bid is for leased lit fiber, the vendor will be responsible for lighting the fiber as well as maintenance of the fiber.

*Vendors must be able to provide all circuits; Internet Access, WAN Connections via Transport, and WAN Connections via Leased Dark Fiber.

All vendor communication will be posted and addressed via the Question and Answer page, please check often for updates.https://www.dcmustangs.com/erate-2021-2022-b
