Davis County Middle School will have their Awards Ceremony on Wednesday May 22nd in our Middle School gym. 5th and 6th grade Awards will be at 1:00PM 7th and 8th grade Awards will be at 2:00PM Parents, you will be contacted if your student is receiving an award!! Hope to see you there!!

5/6 Score Report: Huge congratulations to girls tennis players Culee Smith and Abby Warning for qualifying for the state tennis meet as a doubles team! The boys track team are SCC Champs! They won the conference track meet! Girls finished in 2nd. Great job Mustangs!

Summer Food Information Davis County Schools has diligently worked to provide summer meals for children for many years. This 2024 summer food program will run differently. This year, June 3rd, 2024, thru August 12th, 2024, the food service department will run a rural non-congregate meal service. This will allow families to pick up and take-home meals for the entire week. Each child would receive breakfast and lunch for seven days. • Breakfast would include an entree, fruit, and milk. • Lunch would include an entree, fruit, vegetables, and milk. • Meals would include both fresh and frozen items, all in individual packages. Any child under the age of 18, regardless of economic status, qualifies for a free 7-day meal and milk package. 5/6 Activity Schedule Update: *Boys tennis vs Centerville has been cancelled for today. *SCC track meet at Lakeview Athletic Complex in Centerville will begin at 4:30 for throwing events and 5:00 for running.

5/3 Activity Update: The middle school conference track meet will take place in Albia this evening. Field events start at 4:00 and running events will begin at approximately 5:15. INFORMATION FOR SPECTATORS *No dogs (unless service) are allowed at Albia Athletic events. *Admission (cash at the gate): Adults: $4 Students: $2. *Concession stand/Restrooms will be available.

Drake Relays Update: After numerous weather delays, the Mustangs got to run on the blue oval Saturday. Girls 4x100-77th out of 96. 51.85. Best time of the season. Boys 4x400-12th out of 24. 3:25.43. Best time of the season. Great job Mustangs!
