The Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) replaces the Iowa Assessments as the accountability test for all Iowa students. This assessment is being administered in the following subjects and grade levels starting April 5th-8th:

  • Mathematics:  Grades 3 & 4

  • English-Language Arts, including reading and writing:  Grades 3 & 4

The assessments are developed for the state of Iowa and align with the grade-specific Iowa Core standards and were developed in collaboration with Iowa educators. Our third and fourth graders will be participating in the assessments online April 5th through 8th.

For more information about the testing, you may go online to iowa.pearsonaccessnext.com. By selecting the test preparation tab at the top of this page, you can access practice tests for each grade & subject area.  Feel free to spend time with your child exploring these practice tests and the other resources that are available.  Third & fourth grade teachers are also in the process of preparing students for taking this assessment online.

Students are always welcome to eat the free breakfast offered at school.  It is extremely important that students are present at school, on time, and ready to do their best.

Please call the office or your child’s classroom teacher if you have any questions.
