SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM FALL MEALS
The U.S. Department of Agriculture extended the Summer Food Service Program through December 31, 2020, dependent on available funding. This will allow schools to offer meals to all children at no charge. With this exciting news, we are glad to announce starting September 14,2020, we will be serving breakfast and lunch meals to all children and students 18 & under in our community free of charge through December 31,2020.
You may fill out the appropriate survey in the link below determining your need of service. We will follow our school meal menus located on our dcmustangs.com website. Ala Carte items will be offered to middle school and high school students during school sessions ONLY. Ala Carte is not free and must be paid for. Ala Carte items consist of bottled water, extra entree items, Smart snack approved items (that are not a part of a regular reimbursable meal).
Families do not have to participate and students may still bring cold lunches to school. Yet, we highly encourage families to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Support Services Department at 664-2200 ext.1133
