Preschool and 1st-4th Grade Parents! Don't forget to join us tomorrow from 5:30-6:30 PM for our Back to School Open House.
**Kindergarten teachers have set up different Meet & Greet times for those students to visit the school, meet their teachers, and bring their school supplies. Letters from the kindergarten teachers have been mailed out to those families with more information.**


DC Elementary Parents! Please make sure you have filled out the Helpful Transportation Info Form 22-23 for each of your elementary aged children. This information lets us know your child's after school plans for regular/early dismissal, who is authorized to pick your child up, and if additional mailings are needed for a secondary parent who does not reside in the primary household.

DC Elementary Kindergarten Parents! Please make sure to call in to the elementary office at 641-664-2200 ext. 1135 to schedule your students Meet & Greet visit with their teacher for next week.

>Incoming Preschool & Kindergarteners: Please turn in completed enrollment packets prior to school starting in the fall.
>Incoming 7th Graders: All 7th grade students need proof of a Tdap booster and a meningococcal vaccine or an exemption certificate.
>Incoming 9th Graders: All 9th grade students should submit a valid dental screening certificate to school in the fall.
>Incoming 12th Graders: All 12th grade students need proof of meningococcal vaccines or an exemption certificate.

Summer Food Update! The facility maintenance scheduled for today has been postponed to Thursday, June 2. Due to this change, school buildings will now be closed on Thursday. The Summer Food program will distribute two meals on Wednesday, June 1 to accommodate this closure.

DC Elementary Parents! Friday, May 27th is the last day of school AND a 12:30 early dismissal. Please make sure the elementary office knows what your student's after school plans are for that day if they differ from their normal after school plans.
