On the evening of March 26, 2025, Davis County High School students were honored for their academic achievement. The event was held in the High School Commons with a guest speaker, presentation of awards and dessert reception. Seventy (70) students from grades 9 to 12 were awarded academic honors. All seniors have received this award every year; they were presented with a letter. The recognized students are named and pictured below.
Ms. Kelly Lynch was the guest speaker. Kelly is a 2017 graduate of Davis County High School. She attended the University of Iowa graduating with a major in English and a minor in Philosophy in 2020. Following graduation, she attended the University of Iowa College of Law graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2023. She has been practicing law at Lynch Law Office since September 2023. Kelly presented students with a wonderful message about 5 things that are important for success which are: (1) Overcome failure, (2) Be kind, (3) Be flexible, (4) Be curious, and (5) Surround yourself with good people.
