IMPORTANT CALENDAR CHANGE: Please note that the district Professional Development day scheduled for Monday, April 27 has been changed to Monday, April 20. We are making this change in order to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to our high school students. As part of his 99-county Roots & Wings Tour, Simon Estes - world-renowned opera singer and Centerville, Iowa native -- will be working with students from Davis County High School and Van Buren High School. A concert at Davis County High School is planned for Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 pm. On Monday, April 27, Mr. Estes will spend time with high school students talking about his own experiences in overcoming poverty and racial discrimination.

Davis County Schools will be running on a two-hour delay schedule today, Thursday, October 31. All early morning activities are cancelled for today.
Friday, October 25th will be our last home Varsity Football game. It will also be our Senior Night for Football, Cheer, Cross Country, Band and Color Guard. The introductions will be split up this year throughout the game and will be as follows:
*Pre-Game we will introduce Football and Cheer. Parents of FB and Cheer students will need to be there by 6:15.
*End of the 1st Quarter we will introduce Cross Country.
*Half-time we will introduce Band and Color Guard.
We ask that students/parents be lined up in alphabetical order on the track in front of the bleachers.
The Rah Rah Rookies will be performing at the beginning of the half-time show.
The Cattleman's will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. We will have plenty of hot chocolate and coffee to keep us warm! It will be a busy but fun evening! Come and cheer the Mustangs on!
This Wednesday night, October 23rd, will be the first round of regional High School Volleyball. We play Centerville beginning at 7:00 pm. Admission will be $6.00. Adult or student passes will NOT be accepted. Come out and support our Lady Mustangs!
