Dear DC Middle School Parents & Students,
Please know that Davis County Middle School has exceeded 10% absences due to student illness for two consecutive days. As a result, the Davis County CSD Administrative Policy on Mask Wearing will be in effect at Davis County Middle School beginning tomorrow, January 26, 2022 and through February 8, 2022. The administrative policy is attached to this message and available on the district's website. Also please know that parents may seek an exemption for this requirement by completing the attached Student Mask Exemption Request form and returning it to the building office.
Please know that our goal is to reduce the risk of spread of illness throughout the district to help keep kids in school. While wearing a mask will not eliminate the risk of illness spread, wearing a mask can help reduce that risk. If you have any questions or concerns relating to this matter, please contact me directly at dan.maeder@dcmustangs.com.
Sincerely, Dan Maeder, Superintendent

Due to a shortage of personnel, please be prepared for breakfast and lunch menu changes this week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Adults, lets face it, Middle School has changed in many ways. One of the incredible changes is the number of support programs now offered to DCMS students. No more struggling to understand the assignments at home, After School Palooza is a safe, warm space, where your student can be provided extra homework support, tutoring, or join a new club like our Lego Masters! After school snacks are provided and an activity bus is also available. We look forward to having your student join us as we head into the new semester!

Davis County Schools buses will be running on hard surfaces only on Monday, January 17. Click here for a map of the hard surface bus routes. https://5il.co/12xz1
