Parents and Guardians,
As part of our drug prevention efforts a random search and safety drill was conducted this morning at Davis County High School with the support of area law enforcement and their detection dogs. Students placed backpacks in the hallway and reported to their normally scheduled class during the drill. Random drills such as this one help keep our students safe, drugs out of our buildings, and our area detection dogs in good practice. Thank you.

Mustang Wrestling Fans: Here is a message from Tom Keating, Executive Director at the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
Due to spectator capacity restrictions and safety measures, it is very important that we share the following with fans planning to come to the event:
*Only clear plastic bags will be permitted in the arena. No purses, backpacks, etc.
*Masks are required of all fans at all times unless eating or drinking.
*Fans are required to remain in their assigned/ticketed seats throughout the session.
While we understand not every seat is ideal, the only way we could accommodate 4000+ fans is with a seating plan that spread people out using the entire arena.
The safety of all of our athletes, coaches, officials, workers, fans and communities is the highest priority. We appreciate your help in directing your fans to be responsible.
Sincerely,
Tom
Students, please remember to check your google classrooms and your email first thing in the morning tomorrow so that you know each teacher's expectations for learning during the virtual day. We will use the normal 8 period schedule for classes that are meeting live. It is important that you do your best to attend all your classes on our virtual days. Attendance will be taken tomorrow just as it is during a face-to-face day. If you are unable to meet attendance requirements please email your teacher and/or the office at ashley.wright@dcmustangs.com
