Mustang softball will host Wayne tonight for one varsity game starting at 6:00. The game will be the team's annual PINK OUT game. There will also be a silent auction with all proceeds going to DC Walk for Life.
7/2 Activity Schedule Update:
Due to potential hazardous weather this evening the girls softball game vs Wayne has been cancelled. It has been rescheduled for Friday, July 5th at 6:00. Varsity game only.
The boys varsity baseball game will start at 2:00 vs Ft. Madison this afternoon.

Katie Hash. Katie is joining the district as our Curriculum Director. She is no stranger to Davis County having served as a math consultant for Great Prairie Area Education Agency for the past several years. Madison Rushing. Madison is joining the district as our new High School Counselor. Being a life-long resident and graduate of Davis County and her experiences working with high schools through Indian Hills Community College and also most recently with Van Buren County school district, she brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and DC spirit to the team. Welcome to DC Madi!
Derek Philips. Derek joins the district as our new High School Principal. Derek has successfully served as a principal in area schools at different levels and also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. We were pleased to have representatives from our student body, parents, teachers, and board members all agree that Derek was the right choice for Davis County. Welcome to DC Derek!

The 9th grade baseball game at Knoxville this morning has been cancelled.
The middle school softball games vs Fairfield have been moved to the Pizza Hut fields this morning. There will be no concessions.

Congratulations to Mustangs Augusta Warren and Teagan Snyder for qualifying for nationals at last weekend's Iowa High School Rodeo Finals. Augusta got reserve champion in breakaway and goat tying. Teagan won the goat tying!

Meal Sign Up For The Week of June 17
This summer Davis County Schools has the opportunity to provide meals for children all summer.
Each Monday, families will pick-up and take-home meals for the entire week
Each child will receive breakfast and lunch for seven days.
Breakfast includes an entree, fruit, and milk.
Lunch includes an entree, fruit, vegetables, and milk.
Meals include both fresh and frozen items and are individually packaged.
Any child under the age of 18, regardless of economic status, qualifies for a free 7-day meal and milk package.

6/7 Activity Schedule Update:
On Friday, June 7th, the 9th grade baseball team will play a doubleheader at EBF beginning at 10:00am. This game was originally on the schedule as a home game. The bus will depart MSC at 8:15.
The MS baseball and softball teams will host Van Buren County beginning at 10:00am.
The HS softball team will host EBF in a 9/JV/Varsity contest beginning at 4:30 and the baseball team will host EBF in a Varsity doubleheader beginning at 5:30.
