Meal Sign Up For The Week of June 10
This summer Davis County Schools has the opportunity to provide meals for children all summer.
Each Monday, families will pick-up and take-home meals for the entire week
Each child will receive breakfast and lunch for seven days.
Breakfast includes an entree, fruit, and milk.
Lunch includes an entree, fruit, vegetables, and milk.
Meals include both fresh and frozen items and are individually packaged.
Any child under the age of 18, regardless of economic status, qualifies for a free 7-day meal and milk package.
To participate, please sign up each week by Monday at 1:00PM with the number of meals requested using the following link:

4:30PM–7:00PM Davis County High School
11:00AM–NOON Pulaski Park
1:00PM–2:00PM Floris Park
The Summer Food Program runs June 3 through August 12.
Early morning strength and speed workouts start Monday, June 3rd at 7:00am! All athletes are welcome. Girls will workout from 7-8 and boys from 7-8:30 every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this summer. Meet in the gym with CLEAN shoes just before 7. Please use the south or east doors.

5/31 Clarke Baseball Update: On Friday our boys varsity baseball team will now play first at 4:00 due to potential rain. The JV game will follow if the weather allows.
Attention High School Students!
Any student interested in earning Silver Cord hours, please contact Pam Cantrell at pam.cantrell@dcmustangs.com. Students would help pass out meals on Mondays from 3:30PM-7:00PM at the high school commons beginning Monday, June 3 - Monday, August 12.

Softball:
5:00-Varsity, followed by JV until sunset or game completion
Baseball-
4:00pm-JV for 1hr, 15 min. followed by Varsity. (Please note this will be a quick turnaround between games) "
Baseball and softball travels to Sigourney today. The varsity teams will play first followed by JV. 5:30 start.
Baseball field is located at the school.
Softball field address is 505 East Spring St.

The DC Baseball Classic is cancelled for today due to wet field conditions. However, Davis County will play Fairfield at 3:00 in a varsity doubleheader.
The JV softball tournament at Ottumwa has been pushed back to a start time of 10:30.
State Tennis Update:
The girls lose a heartbreaker. #6 ranked Dike-New-Hartford clinches the match win, 2-1 (6-7 (6-8), 6-2, 10-7).

There is no HS baseball practice tonight.
5/24 Activity Schedule Update (2):
The baseball and softball games vs Centerville have been cancelled for tonight. A rescheduled date will be announced later.

*MS boys baseball practice has been cancelled for today. Jerseys were handed out at school today. If your son didn't get their jersey today, the coaches will hand out on Tuesday before the game.
*MS girls softball will practice in the multi-purpose room batting cages at the high school fieldhouse after school until 2:00.
Huge shoutout to Mustang girls tennis players Culee Smith and Abby Warning who will compete in the State tennis meet Friday at the University of Iowa. They will compete as a doubles team tomorrow at 10 AM.

5/22 Activity Schedule Update:
HS baseball and softball teams will travel to Knoxville today. The girls will play a JV/Varsity contest beginning at 5:30. The boys will play a varsity doubleheader beginning at 5:30.

We will be fishing (bring fishing gear), hiking, playing in the park, and playing yard games.
Bring sunscreen, wear old clothes, pack a cold lunch and a couple of cold drinks.

Dear Davis County,
Congratulations to the Class of 2024! The beautiful weather was only surpassed by the terrific program conducted largely by many of our graduates, who represented every member of the Class of 2024 so very well. Best of luck to each of you as you begin a new chapter in your life.
Please accept my sincere apology for not displaying the US Flag in Mustang Stadium during today's ceremony. While the flag was on display at the high school, it was not visible to the public who attended today's graduation ceremony. I am thankful to the Veteran and parent who brought this to my attention as being unacceptable. As a Veteran, I completely agree and must ask forgiveness as this very important detail was overlooked. We will do better in the future.
