Davis County Middle school students will be going to the Beach Ottumwa on Monday May 20th. The bus will load at 8:45Am and leave at 9:00Am. They will return approximately at
3:00PM. There is no concession stand available that day so students may bring their sack lunch and snacks. Bring sunscreen & towels for all day swimming. If your student needs a sack lunch please have them tell the office by tomorrow., May 17th. If your student wishes not to participate they may stay home that day.

Attention Middle School Baseball Parents:
*Middle School baseball practice will begin on Monday, May 13th at Mustang Sports Complex. A bus will take kids to MSC after school for their practice if they need a ride. Activity buses will NOT be available for the remainder of the school year.
*There will be a meeting for all 6th and 7th grade boys interested in playing middle school baseball on Friday, May 10th during advisory hour at the middle school.
*Reminder that ALL boys playing middle school baseball will need a current physical on file in order to begin practice.

*SCC track meet at Lakeview Athletic Complex in Centerville will begin at 4:30 for throwing events and 5:00 for running.
Summer Food Information
Davis County Schools has diligently worked to provide summer meals
for children for many years. This 2024 summer food program will run
differently.
This year, June 3rd, 2024, thru August 12th, 2024, the food service
department will run a rural non-congregate meal service.
This will allow families to pick up and take-home meals for the entire
week.
Each child would receive breakfast and lunch for seven days.
• Breakfast would include an entree, fruit, and milk.
• Lunch would include an entree, fruit, vegetables, and milk.
• Meals would include both fresh and frozen items, all in individual
packages.
Any child under the age of 18, regardless of economic status, qualifies
for a free 7-day meal and milk package.
To participate please sign up each week who will need meals under

You may pick up meals from one of the following pick-up sites on
Monday’s. When filling out information on our sign-up link please
