Middle School Track Update: On Monday, April 10th the MS track meet at Van Buren has been changed to a 4:00 start time instead of the originally scheduled 4:30 start. The buses will leave the middle school "S" curves at 2:30.

*The Dennis Anderson Relays have been rescheduled for April 14th.

Davis County Families:
Due to the severe storm warning sirens being activated today, during the school day, Davis County students and staff members in all buildings moved to their severe weather shelter locations. All students and staff members were accounted for in those locations during this time. Once the all clear was given everyone returned to class to end their day. Thank you to everyone for ensuring all of our students were safe and accounted for.

Coaching Certification Opportunity:
This course is approved by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. It is a 55-Hour comprehensive coaching education course that, upon successful completion, will provide participants with the essential knowledge and credentials to earn their coaching authorization license. This is a hybrid class, 12 hours of face-to-face classroom and the additional online course work completed at the participant’s own pace. At the completion of the course work, participants will take two tests and need an 80% or better pass rate to receive the Coaching Authorization Certificate from IHCC.
Once participants pass and receive our certificate, they can complete their application for coaching authorization with the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, completing all background check forms and submitting all the required fees at www.boee.iowa.gov/licauthorization/coaching-authorization.
To register online for the Coaching Authorization Class, go to www.indianhills.edu/cews.
Scroll down to the button that says, “Register for a Continuing Education Class.” From here, you will be able to search and pay for the class. Use “Coaching” for the search word.
