Mark your calendars! IHCC's G.E.M.S. (Girls Exploring Math & Science) Camp is coming up with two sessions, the first: July 15-16, 2021 and the second: July 22-23, 2021! The G.E.M.S. Camp is open to female students finishing the 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades.
Girls meet with professional women working in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields, as well as create, explore, and discover through S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering Math) projects!

BASEBALL UPDATE: The Mustang baseball team beat Fairfield 4-3 in game 1 of the DC Classic tournament. They will play in the championship game vs Grinnell or Van Buren at 5:30.
The Kindergarteners finished out their year by hatching baby chicks! This experience was a big hit amongst our students..and most eggs hatched!

Baseball Update: The boys JV game tonight at Centerville will have an hour time limit. The Varsity game will start at 7:00 due to the colder than normal temperature.
DC Classic Baseball Tournament: The Mustang baseball team will host the DC Classic on Saturday, May 29th. Here is the schedule for the day.
10:00 am - Fairfield vs Davis County
12:30 - Grinnell vs Van Buren
3:00 - Losers bracket game
5:30 - Championship game

From the Activities Office: Tonight's 9th grade baseball games vs EBF and JV softball games vs Fairfield have been postponed due to wet field conditions. We will try to reschedule for a later date.
West Sports Complex Protocols: A friendly reminder that pets are prohibited at the ball fields. And the facility is a tobacco and smoke free environment. Thank You.
BASEBALL/SOFTBALL OPENING NIGHT (Take 2): The baseball and softball teams take on Knoxville in an SCC showdown tonight. The girls will play a 9/JV/Var starting at 4:30. And the boys will play a Varsity DH beginning at 5:30. There will be a brief ceremony at 5:20 before Game 1 of the boys with a "First Pitch" from two former coaches and a flag pole dedication. The "First Pitch" for the softball game will be before the Varsity starts. See you there!

Tonight‘s baseball and softball game versus Wayne has been canceled. Both teams will return to action tomorrow versus Knoxville. Girls will start at 4:30, boys will start at 5:30.

Davis County CSD - COVID 19 Status & Update 5/25/21

From the Activities Office: Please plan to attend Opening Day (Night) at the West Sports Complex as the Mustang baseball and softball teams take on Wayne of Corydon on Tuesday evening. The JV games will begin at 5:30 and the varsity contests are slated to start at 7:30. Prior to the varsity games, there will be a short dedication ceremony for the new ball fields. Cost for admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Today's 2021 Commencement Ceremony will be livestreamed on the Davis County CSD Facebook page.
Davis County Schools will have a two-hour delay on Monday, May 24.
This is scheduled Professional Development time for staff.
