5/4 Score Report: Girls tennis finished in a tie for 2nd place at the SCC meet held today in Knoxville. Maddy Warning was singles runner-up which earned her a spot on the SCC All-Conference team. Congrats Maddy and the team!

Thank you to Seaboard Foods and Dutch Country General Store for helping celebrate Davis County school board, teachers and staff, yesterday, at the Mustang Sports Complex. Pork was provided by Seaboard Foods and sides were provided by Dutch Country Store.

5/3 Activity Update: The Girls Conference tennis meet scheduled for today in Knoxville has been postponed. They will begin play at 9 am tomorrow.

4/30 Softball Skills Clinic Update: Due to wet field conditions, the softball skills clinic will be held at the Mutchler Center on Saturday. Please bring a clean pair of tennis shoes to wear.

4/28 Score Report: Boys Golf at the Moravia Invitational at Honey Creek. Easton White 81 7th place. Noah Hamm 86 19th place. 110 total golfers. Mustangs finished in 8th place out of 19 teams. Boys Tennis: DC 3 Clarke 6 Girls Tennis: DC 1 Clarke 8

This Saturday, April 30th our DCHS Softball Team will be holding a skills clinic. At this time it will be at the WSC, however, due to possible weather concerns a decision will be made by 9:00 am on Saturday if it will be moved to the Mutchler Center.

4/26 Score Report: Girls track wins the Chariton Relays. Boys Golf: Easton White 83 Jack Bigsby 94. Team 375 4th out of 9 teams. Good job Mustangs!

Reminder that DCHS Softball will be holding a skills clinic this Saturday, April 30th. This is a great opportunity to have some some one on one coaching from our varsity softball players.

The Middle School Boys Track meet for tonight in Ottumwa has been cancelled.

Middle School boys track practice is cancelled for tonight due to the weather conditions.

State FFA Convention Results: Chapter Display - Gold Rating, Top 10 out of over 175 displays, recognized on stage - Emily Winters and Jenna Marlow. Farm Business Management Team - Gold Rating - 16th out of 107 teams - Melana Followwill, Luke Farley, Kate Knobloch and Kayla Joos Melana was placed 6th out of 370 students and only missed 7 questions on the test. Team Ag Sales - Gold Rating - 14th out of 112 Teams - Grant Hunter, Parker Moore, Cayler Wuthrich and Wyatt McClure. Grant was our highest individual. He placed 34th out of over 350 students. Poultry Judging - Gold Rating - 13th out of 125 teams - Emily Wiley, Maddie Barker, Kami Joos, and Saydee Westercamp. Emily Wiley was our highest individual and placed 44th out of nearly 500 students and was 3rd place in the ready to cook section. Scarlet Meyer and McKenna Kirkham performed in the State Honor Band and Veronica Yoder performed in the Honor Choir. Katrianne Knobloch also received her Iowa Degree which is the highest Degree the Iowa FFA awards! Wyatt Hull volunteer and helped at the Career Development Events . The group helped pack 1000s of meals for the hungry with Meals from the Heartland!
