The Davis County School Food Pantry will be open to the public from 5-6 tonight. Please pull in the lot with the large shop doors on the east end of the high school and someone will bring your items to your car.

In response to the high percentage of positive COVID-19 cases and their effects on the number of students and staff requiring quarantine and/or isolation, Davis County Schools has decided to cancel school for students on Thursday, November 12 instead of the planned early dismissal. Parent-Teacher conferences will continue as planned on Thursday. Practices for students participating in extracurricular activities will be allowed to continue on Thursday and Friday, but will not be considered mandatory.
We hope this extended weekend will provide some much needed rest and recuperation for students and staff and help prevent further spread of the virus. School will resume on Monday, November 16th as planned.

If you plan to go to Fort Dodge to support our boy's and girl's cross country teams on Saturday, here are the guidelines to follow:
Location: Lakeside Municipal Golf Course, Highway P56, 2 miles north of the Fort Dodge Airport and Harlan Rogers Park.
Start Times: Girls - 10:30, Boys - 11:00
Masks will be required for all-non-participating individuals at the starting area, finish corral and awards viewing area.
Masks are encouraged to be worn throughout other areas of the park.
Spectators will be allowed to park inside Kennedy Park.
There will not be a shuttle system as in previous years.
Spectators will be charged $10 to attend the meet.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive at the meet between 8:30-10:30.

If you are attending tonight's Class 3A Regional Final tonight in Montezuma here are the guidelines to follow.
Spectators must possess a face covering upon admission.
Spectators school aged and older are highly recommended to wear face coverings at indoor activities whenever social distancing cannot occur (when not 6 feet apart.)
Post season admission is established by the IGHSAU and is set at $6. Children 5 and under are free to attend.
Admission to events will open 60 minutes prior to the start of the event.
All persons should be respectful of others, their beliefs, and their space. Represent yourself and your community in a positive manner.
